Maternity Monday: Check out Tia Mowry's Hollywood Baby Shower

I found this great video of Tia's Hollywood Baby Shower that was on Saturday.

The Game star Tia Mowry and hubby Cory Hardrict celebrated the occasion with a big baby shower bash at the London Hotel in West Hollywood Saturday, along with Tamera Mowry and a few of Tia's co-stars in tow

Maternity Monday: Pink has her baby

Pink and Carey Hart welcomed their darling daughter into the world last Thursday. Carey Hart left Pink the sweetest text ever talking about his new daughter.  It justifies the saying "A mom falls in love with her baby when she gets pregnant a father falls in love with his baby the minute they see them"

“My wife @Pink owns my heart. And she just gave me my best achievement of my life #WillowSageHart. Medals and flips got nothing on her.”

Friday Find: Printed Pampers for the Summer

I so love Rosie Pope , so when I heard about these printed pampers that she was partnering with Pampers to offer, I had to share!!  These pampers seem amazing. I know with my son sometimes it is all I can do to get some shorts or pants on him because I don't just want him running around in a drab white pamper, but now there is an option.

Check out these cute pics of Rosie Pope and her son in them.

Rachel Zoe with Baby Skyler

I am such a big fan of Rachel Zoe and when I found out that she was having a baby, I was so excited for her one because she is the true definition of a workaholic and two because if she can juggle fashion, family and fame then it is doable.

Here is a precious picture of her cuddling with her son Skyler.

Keeping the Spark lit during Pregnancy

So this seems to be a burning question couples that are expecting go through.  It was even in an episode of Pregnant in Heels, I know a guilty pleasure.

Rosie had a therapist come in to talk to a couple because sex was a real issue between them.  The husband wanted more of it and the pregnant wife did not feel up to it.  I thought it was amazing how Rosie got the husband to see how hard it was for his wife to enjoy having sex during the last  few months of her pregnancy by making him wear a pregnancy suit, to run, walk and even roll over on her back and on all fours.  And he truly had an "Ah Ha" moment.  He finally realized what it was like for his wife to have an additional person inside of her trying to do all this simple every day things and he completely understood.

The whole point was to let both parents know that it is all about understanding each other and what they are going through to truly be able to keep the spark alive during the pregnancy and after pregnancy.  Expectant mothers need to realize that your partner may not be feeling the aches and pains, tiredness, and extra weight that you are but they have tons of other things going on in their lives that might be stressing them too.  And their partners need to understand what an expectant mother is going through and she might not always feel up to doing all the things that she used to.  But with both people understanding where each is coming from there is a bigger chance that a compromise can be made.

And remember keeping the spark alive is not just sex, there are so many more options out there to explore.  Ok that's another story!!

So once everyone opens up and understands each other, I promise, the spark will stay lit.

How do you and your partner keep the spark lit during pregnancy?
